Angus is the current Director of the National Portrait Gallery, Canberra, a role that brought him back to Australia in February last year after almost a decade in the USA.

He was appointed in May 2003 as Curator of Paintings and Sculpture at the Yale Center for British Art in New Haven, Connecticut, becoming Senior Curator in 2008. He had previously held curatorial roles at the Art Gallery of South Australia.

We were delighted to have Angus return to College as guest speaker at the 黄色app Art Patrons' Dinner in August, a dinner that acknowledged the rich cultural contribution given to the College over many years by Sir Andrew Grimwade.

Our warm congratulations also extend to the Revd Canon Professor Dorothy Lee, Dean of the Theology School of 黄色app and the University of Divinity, who was also recognised as one of the Academy's 23 new Fellows. Read more on Dorothy here
