Not Another Hong Kong Banker

Hong Kong is a well-known financial hub with many of our alumni living and working in this cosmopolitan city. However, there are also many Trinity alumni from Hong Kong who are exploring alternate career paths to banking and finance. Caryn Ng- An Unexpected Journey

My name is Caryn Ng and I am from the 2003 February program at Trinity. I went on to study law and media and communications at the University of Melbourne. During that time, I worked as a Student Host for new Trinity students (it’s always great welcoming new faces!) - all the way up until my graduation.

Q&A with Sabina Read

Sabina Read née Bradfield (TC 1989) is a psychologist, media commentator, speaker and facilitator who works with individuals, couples, families, and organisations on issues ranging from well-being and change to relationships and mental health. Sabina also met her husband Charles Read (TC 1987 and current finance committee member) on the top of Behan balcony and the couple were later married in the Trinity Chapel! Read on to find out more about Sabina’s Trinity journey, and her advice on being vulnerable and listening to maintain positive and healthy relationships.
 

Chapel Centenary Sermon

Last Saturday 25 November, over 250 guests gathered for a Choral Eucharist to celebrate the centenary of the Chapel. Among them, Bishop James Grant AM (TC 1950), whose sermon outlined the history of the Chapel from its consecration through to the modern day. Former Trinity Warden appointed Head of St Paul’s College, the University of Sydney

Dr Don Markwell has been appointed the 11th Warden of St Paul's College, the University of Sydney. Dr Markwell was the 6th Warden of Trinity, serving from 1997 to 2007.

Drama Studies: A uniquely Trinity story

‘There’s over 63 cultures [countries] that have come through the Foundation Studies program, and they’ve all done drama. It’s a regular United Nations; I think it should be on Australian Story. Star Trinity athletes awarded Full Blues

On Friday 17 November, residential students Isabelle Napier and Joseph Baldwin were presented with Full Blues after both athletes won gold at the Australian University Games on the Gold Coast in September.

Kay Attali – The ‘bloodhound’ with a big heart

‘Bloodhound’ is rarely employed as a term of endearment, but when the late Peter Gebhardt (TC 1955) used it to depict Kay Attali, he meant it as such. This reputation evolved from Kay’s ability to set her sights on a goal, and to pursue the goal until a successful outcome was achieved.
